Top International Brands to Partner with Mission Hills

Mission Hills Group, China's top developer of hotel and leisure real estate, has unveiled Mission Hills Centreville, an ambitious mixed-use master-plan entertainment-driven development. The new complex, which is about an hour north of Shenzhen, will bring four new international entertainment companies to the country as the heart and soul of a project that includes hotels, offices, parks, shopping malls, clubs, and apartments. villa

This mixed-use project in Mission Hills is expected to open in 2013.

Brunswick Group, an American bowling alley operator, Ice Castle International, an international ice-skating company, and Japan's eXcape Entertainment Group are three of the new partners. Orange Sky Golden Harvest Entertainment Limited, a Chinese language film firm, will join this branded trinity of elite enterprises.

Ken Chu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Mission Hills Group, said, "We're happy to announce this collaboration between Mission Hills and four famous leisure and entertainment businesses." "Each company is a leader in its sector, and this partnership is a 'win-win' situation for both parties. Mission Hills Centreville is a highly anticipated development. It will become a big draw throughout China and the Asia-Pacific region with big international brands like this on board."

Brunswick Bowling has been a global leader in bowling center development for more than a century, with over a hundred retail locations across North America and Europe.

""We're excited to develop a one-of-a-kind bowling complex with 2,850 square meters here in Mission Hills Centreville, China," said Brunswick general sale and service manager Katherine Lee, "and we'll make sure to deliver the best in entertainment to this region of China." There are a number of parallels with golf. It's interesting, difficult, and appropriate for people of all ages."

Ice Castle International, a well-known ice-skating destination and training center in the United States, will open a 2,600 square meter skating complex in China. It will not only be Shenzhen's first actual ice rink, but also a premier training facility for aspiring dancers and sports.

The Ice Castle International figure skating brand, led by former national team member Liu YueMing, has worked with some of the world's best athletes. Michelle Kwan, a nine-time US National Champion, Sasha Cohen, a two-time World Silver Medalist, Jeffrey Buttle, a 2008 World Champion from Canada, Evan Lysacek, a 2009 World Champion from the United States, Mao Asada, a two-time World Champion from Japan, and three-time World Champions Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo from China.

"Shenzhen is a youthful, vibrant city, and we are excited to deliver first-class venue, management, and skills training to the city, not only to allow more people to enjoy skating, but also to cultivate more domestic talent," Liu YueMing said.

At Mission Hills Centreville, the eXcape Entertainment Group of Japan will open a simulation racing center. In a 270-degree driving simulator, visitors will be able to experience legendary sports car brands such as Ferrari and Audi.

"The high-tech driving simulator will provide players an unrivaled opportunity to experience the enthusiasm and adrenaline of high-tech motorsport," stated James Fiorillo Ortega, CEO of eXcape Entertainment Group.

Orange Sky Golden Harvest Entertainment, on the other hand, is the world's leading Chinese language film entertainment company. In Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore, it runs 57 multiplexes with a total of 433 screens.

With the debut of the Motion Chair D-BOX, Orange Sky Golden Harvest Studio will build a 5D high-tech, luxurious movie city with state-of-the-art technology, excellent audio-visual effects — including Sony 4K projection systems and Dolby 11.1 channel and DMR — and state-of-the-art equipment.

"The most advanced screening technology and audio-visual equipment are combined at Orange Sky Golden Harvest Studios," said Mao Yimin, executive director and CEO of Orange Sky. "By delivering high-quality entertainment to this area of China, our collaboration with Mission Hills Group, the premier brand in the hospitality and leisure business, will set new benchmarks."

The Pearl River Delta is conveniently accessible in Mission Hills Centreville. It has convenient access to major expressways, which cut travel time between Mission Hills and Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Hong Kong in half. Mission Hills has become a Shenzhen landmark, with the 'World's Largest Golf Club' at its heart.

Mission Hills, which was founded in 1992, is China's foremost golf brand and is synonymous with high-end resort-style lifestyle. More than 100 international tournaments have been held at its three world-class integrated leisure and wellness resort destinations. Guinness World Records has also named Mission Hills as the "World's Largest Golf Club."

Mission Hills spans 40 square kilometers and includes 22 championship golf courses designed by renowned players and architects from five continents, as well as several five-star resorts, award-winning spas, volcanic mineral springs, an international convention center, golf academies, and Asia's largest tennis facility. The Chinese Tennis and Golf Associations use Mission Hills as their official training facility.
